If you haven't seen it yet, you must check out this issue of Details magazine with the Gossip Girl guys on the cover. The pictures are delicious, but the article is even better – the writer really got the guys to relax and talk candidly with him. Some of our favorite quotes:

Chace talks about all the smack talk that's come out about him: "Model turned actor, dime a dozen, eye candy, doesn't know what he's doing ... and Perez Hilton says I have 'gayface.' So on top of everything else, I have to overcome gayface."

Chace on his high-school experience: "I'm pretty sure I wasn't having sex with any cougars."

Penn, on Chace: "It's like he was genetically bred to be a teen star."

Penn on his demeanor: "People who don't know me that well often think I'm a bit of an asshole and take myself too seriously. I don't take anything seriously. [J]ust because I'm not smiling doesn't mean I'm not happy. Chace is one of the most positive guys I've ever met, and you can see that in the way he walks around. I'm also like that—but you can't see it."

Ed on his vocal model for Chuck Bass: "I don't know, man, there's a slight thing in Carlton Banks [of The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire], that kind of über-preppy, that I did pick up on."

Ed on Chuck's "evil" ways: "It's not like Chuck is stickin' a knife to a granny's throat. He's just mischievous."

Now for some different Gossip guys: Serena is getting a new boy to kiss, and we have to agree with the New York Post’s Pop Wrap – he’s totally a young Rufus Humphrey! Check out the side-by-side pics if you don’t believe us.

Even more intriguing is this news: Wallace Shawn, who we will always know and love from the movie Princess Bride, will be playing the new guy’s dad – and according to TV Guide, HE’LL be a potential love monkey for Eleanor Waldorf! Poing!

In other news, Vanity Fair uncovered a tragic error in the Fashion Week episode. If you look at the seating chart for Eleanor’s show, legendary (and somewhat terrifying) fashion editor Anna Wintour is placed in the second row, on the wrong side of the runway. No way would Eleanor be getting a good review after that move!

However, maybe she’s sucking up to a different constituency – New York magazine revealed that the Fug Girls, Jessica and Heather, got fabulous seats for the show. Nice!

Finally, remember that spectacular, multi-colored portrait Lily installed over the staircase in her spiffy new apartment? That’s a scaled-down version of Richard Phillips’s 1998 painting “Spectrum,” and the artist himself will get a walk-on part when the painting is formally unveiled in a future episode. We love it when high art and pop culture meet!

First up, our own Jason C. talks to Pooch Hall, the man who brings us Derwin Davis. See what he has to say about becoming one with his alter-ego, Derwin's priorities for the new season, and what happens when fans see him on the street:

Whoa. Supernatural continues to scramble our brains with fantastic twists and game-changing events. This week, Dean went back in time to see his parents before they were his parents -- and his mind, like ours, was completely blown.

Sam went sneaking off into the night with Ruby while Dean slept -- and that, unfortunately, was the last we saw of him. But Kripke and Co. made it up to use by introducing several other family members -- John Winchester (who was contemplating buying a VW van!), Mary Campbell (she's a Hunter!), and her Hunter parents Samuel and Deanna. Yes, you read the right --- her parents names were Sam and Dean... ish. Whatever, we'll take it.

Biggest surprise
( surveys)

Castiel sent Dean back in time with the admonition that he has to "stop it." What it? Apparently, angels aren't so great at clarifying the meaning of their objective personal pronouns, so Dean's on his own. At first, he doesn't even realize he's back in the 1970s, but he gradually catches on -- and figures out that the handsome, good-natured, dark-haired stranger he's talking is John Winchester. And the sweet, pretty blond John's wooing? That would be Mary. Oh, and Mary? She's a Hunter. And she's perfectly capable of kicking serious ass. Whoo-hoo!

After a tense meeting with Mary's very grumpy father (he makes future John at his most obsessed look cuddly!), Mary admits that she wants to marry John at least in part because she wants out of this life. And then she says something that breaks our hearts: "You know the worst thing I can think of? The very worst thing? Is for my children to be raised into this like I was. I won't let it happen." Oof. That sound you heard right then? That was Dean's heart breaking -- and our hearts broke with him. Then Dean has a request: He asks Mary to promise not to get out of bed on November 2, 1983 -- the day she dies. She promises -- but it's a promise we know she won't keep.

Dean uses the journal to track down the Yellow-Eyed Demon, but Samuel and Mary got there first. This is where Mary first met Old Yellow Eyes, and he decides he likes her. Uh-oh. He escapes before Dean can shoot him with the Colt (which he stole from Daniel Elkins), and Dean tells Samuel the truth -- that he's from the future, that Mary will be his mom, and that if they don't find the demon, she'll die. Unfortunately, the demon found them -- he's possessed Samuel! Yellow-Eyes makes Samuel stab himself through the heart, then snaps Deanna's neck. Then he goes after Mary. He drags John out of the car (just after he proposed!) and snaps his neck, too. Then he offers Mary a deal -- he can bring John back, but in return, he'll want something in 10 years. That something? To infect Sam. But Mary doesn't know that part. She agrees. Now we know why Mary's spirit apologized to Sam. She made the deal that started this whole mess, adn she gave him up to the demon.

Castiel brings Dean back to the present... and when Dean mourns that he couldn't stop anything from happening, the angel tells him that it was impossible. They can't change the past, but they wanted him to see what had happened, to know everything they knew. He had to understand exactly what he's up against. Here's what gets us about that: Old Yellow Eyes took Sam back to see the past in part to show him what happened, and in pat to torture him -- but he told Sam up front that he couldn't change things. Castiel sent Dean back into the past to educate him -- but he ended up torturing Dean more than the demon ever could, because he let Dean believe he could change the past and save his parents' lives. We know angels are supposed to be the good guys, but we seriously wonder about their methods.

But at least we finally find out the "it" Dean has to stop: Sam, and whatever he's doing. If Dean doesn't stop Sam, Castiel says, he and his heavenly brethren will.

And then Kripke hit us with "To be continued...." We still don't know what Sam is doing, or what Yellow-Eyes' endgame really was. What do you think is happening? And what did you think of the episode? Talk about it in in the comments!

Smallville delved into the past to show us how Ollie came to be Green Arrow, how Tess and Ollie met, and how incredibly hot Ollie is without his shirt on. OK, that last bit may not have been the point of the episode, but we appreciate it nonetheless.

When Ollie nearly passes out at a big charity 'do (staffed with half-naked waiters and waitresses, natch), Chloe and Clark are there to catch him. The press thinks he's just drunk, but Clark and Chloe know better. Ollie refuses to let them take him to the hospital -- he knows what's doing this to him, and he knows that conventional medical treatment will kill him. How does he know this? Because it's happened before.

Years ago, Ollie washed up on an island after a shipwreck, and developed his awe-inspiring archery skills (it took him a while, but hunger is a great motivator). Then, after two years of lonely exile, he hears other human voices -- and immediately manages to scratch himself with an incredibly toxic plant that he'd somehow avoided up until now. Whatever -- it leads to sweaty, shirtless Ollie scenes, so we're ok with it.

Fortunately, Ollie is rescued by someone who recognizes the plant and knows how to treat it -- with leeches (ew!) That someone is ... Tess Mercer. Poing! This Tess is a lot different than the stern, driven woman we've come to know. She's timid, frightened and in the thrall of a couple of thugs who are looking to hold Ollie for ransom. When Marcus, the lead thug, shoots Tess' friend, she falls apart. But that just strengthens Ollie's resolve -- he fashions a makeshift projectile and infects Marcus with the flower poison. Then the two of them leave Marcus, telling him to take a dip in a leech pond if he wants to live.

Did you like seeing the Green Arrow origin story?
( surveys)

Apparently, Marcus did just that, because he's back, he's pissed off, and he's got the poison. Chloe convinces Davis to come in and help out, and resists his entreaties to bring Ollie to the hospital. That's a good thing -- Ollie's date is treated with adrenaline, which initially seems to cure her, but then kills her. Lois, who was tracking Ollie down to write the "drunken playboy makes a fool of himself" story, helps minister to him and begs him to survive. She's not over him yet.

Chloe uses her enhanced brain and computer skills to figure out what poisoned Ollie, and determines where they're likely to find an antidote. Clark is wigged out -- her super-brain powers happened after her encounter Brainiac, right? Yes, Chloe admits, but she's choosing to think of it as the one good thing that came out of a horrible situation. Clark reluctantly lets it go because he needs to find the antidote. Clark goes to Tess, who initially denies knowing anything about poisons or antidotes, but relents when she finds out it's Ollie who needs help. But it doesn't matter, she says -- the lab with the antidote is in Brazil, and they'll never get it in time. Clark uses his super speed to to get the vital drug and saves Ollie at the last minute.

When Ollie recovers, he realizes that Marcus must be going after Tess -- who he calls "Mercy" -- next. And Marcus is -- but the the scared girl he remembers is very, very different now. She's willing to fight back. Marcus eventually gets the upper hand, but Clark shows up in time to use his heat vision to take out an electrical pole and knock Marcus out. Marcus gets out of jail, and Tess is there to meet him. She scratches him with the poison flower, then tells the cab driver to take him to the hospital. She just killed him.

Ollie goes to Tess and tells her she's not the woman he remembers -- and it sure seems like they had some kind of romantic relationship, and that Ollie walked out without saying goodbye. She gives him a file, which contains evidence that suggests Lionel Luthor killed his parents.

Finally, Davis ends up at the Isis Foundation, where he sees Chloe's massive computer set-up and evidence of her mega-brain intelligence. Chloe wigs out, but he tells her not to be ashamed of being smart. Everyone has a side they don't show anyone else, he says -- even me.

Supernatural fans got the surprise of their lives when the season premiere revealed that an angel had pulled Dean out of Hell. Our own Jason C. got an exclusive sit-down with the man behind the wings, Misha Collins, and asked him about Kripke's stealthy ways, the difference between angels and demons in the Supernatural world, and what sort of background reading he did to prepare for the part. Plus, find out why Misha says he's "not a sweet little cherub"!

Warning: Misha gives us a couple of clues about what's coming up in tonight's episode, and we've got a tiny clip featuring Jensen Ackles. Don't watch if you want to remain unspoiled!

Hey, look! There's a picture of our own Jason C., interviewing Wendy Raquel Robinson (aka the fabulous Tasha Mack) and series creator Mara Brock Akil! How cool!

And then... we read the article. We agree with the basic point -- The Game is a great show that doesn't get half enough press coverage. When it does, the reporters on the other ends of the microphone can sound like they're never even heard of the show, much less watched it. But that hardly applies to Jason and the rest of us here at The CW Source -- we love the show, and we like to think we know our stuff!

Want proof? Check back tomorrow to see some of the interviews Jason did at the very premiere party where that picture was taken. So thanks for raising the issue, Detroit News, but give us credit when it's due!

America’s Next Top Model was all about disasters this week: natural disaster in the photo shoot, clothing disasters in the challenge, and personality disasters in the house. Somebody needs to start a telethon to help this show recover!

We kid, of course – we really liked the episode, and the concept of the girls looming Godzilla-like over a scale-model version of L.A. was loads of fun. Of course, some did it better than others…

But let’s back up and talk about the personality conflicts. What do you think of the whole Marjorie situation? We actually sympathize with her – we’d be total wrecks if we were in that house, having people tear apart our looks and judging our every move! Of course, that’s one of the many reasons we’re NOT on a reality show… But the cultural-difference explanation makes sense to us. And hey, if Paulina – the person who has her feet in both worlds – says that’s what’s going on, we’re inclined to believe her. (Also, we completely love her, so we’ll agree with almost anything she says.) But other girls – especially Samantha – seems to feel like Marjorie’s self-doubt is a personal affront. Get over it, Sam!

Who’s right when it comes to Marjorie’s nervousness?
( polls)

A lot of the Marjorie issue came out at the challenge – which, by the way, we LOVED. The vast majority of models don’t grace the pages of Italian Vogue – they’re much more likely to appear in the latest Speigel catalog. And the clothing you see in catalogs isn't designed to fit a model’s body perfectly. So it was great to see all the tricks they used to make the clothes fit. The binder clips were obvious, but we never would have thought about putting a water bottle or two down the back of a waistband to make pants fit! And now we know why the clothes we order never look the same on us as they do in the picture!

Finally, there was the photo shoot. While Samantha did kind of annoy us in the house, we have to admit she took a fabulous picture, and she seemed to bring the most energy to the shoot. We don’t quite get why everyone raved over Sheena’s picture – it was nice, but seemed a little cheesy. The judges bestowed the cheddar label on Lauren Brie instead. We can see that. They also loved Elina's “ugly pretty” face, and Tyra thought McKey’s heat wave shot was fantastic (Nigel didn’t agree.)

Who had the best photo shoot?
( polls)

Who had the worst photo shoot?
( surveys)

Josyln and Clark were the bottom two, and we were really worried for a while there. We love Josyln, but she’s seemed defeated lately. (By the way, how cute was it when she called her sister, and we found out her sister had the same helium-inflected squeaky voice?). Clark, on the other hand, was completely confident – even though we (and the judges) didn’t like her film. In the end, Tyra said their photo shoots were neck and neck, but Josyln personality gave her the edge. She stays – and we’re thrilled. Let’s see you make a comeback, Josyln! You’re way too sweet to lose!

Who deserved to go home?
( surveys)

Nanny Carrie puts her fiendish plan (which, Dan is quick to remind us, sucks) into action and lures Haley and Jamie to her house of horrors.
If you still think that Privileged is a wholesome, non-confrontational, middle-of-the-road drama, you apparently missed Tuesday’s episode. It may have started out as a do-and-feel-good show but this week, it was on and the heat got turned up – way up.

It had only been a few minutes into the latest Privileged and there was porn, romance and a seductive plan by Sage to get the low down on the Smith family tree. (Special treat for old Will & Grace and Hidden Palms fans, Leslie Allen Jordan appeared as dive salon owner. We can’t help but smile every time we hear his sassy little voice.)

And, if you missed the sexual-stiff conversation between Charlie and Megan, all we can say is - hilarious. We can totally picture Megan being a little "stiff."

Porn and stiffness aside, the latest Sage drama has her working in cahoots with Lily, of all people. We should have seen it coming. It was only a matter of time before these two gossip girls/drama queens got together. Megan better watch her back!

What do you think of Lily and Sage’s Megan-hater club?
( polls)

We also weren’t totally convinced that the awkwardness between Megan and Jacob was just a result of Charlie’s revelations about Megan’s dating past (her high school boyfriend told everyone she was “stiff”). But why did she have to assume Jacob canceling their date meant he wasn’t interested? We thought Megan had higher self esteem than that.

And, although we tend to side with Megan on whether or not she needs be watching pornography – even if it is just a learning tool – we think Rose held her ground well and loved that she stood up against Megan when she thought she was judging her. She totally was, by the way. We never thought of Rose being, in the words of the show, a slutty-slutterson.

All this sexual-drama had Megan running a good-hearted interference attempt with Max (Rose’s boyfriend). We don’t know if was Megan’s reaction to him or what, but Max was definitely giving off the ick-factor vibe last night. But why did it upset Megan so much when she failed to keep the two apart? Is it because she didn’t have the guts to stop Lily back in the day? Is she trying to relive the past and make a better Lily out of Rose?

Did you think that Megan should have spoken up and said something to Laurel about Rose wanting to have sex?
( surveys)

Oh, and did we mention the mugging? We’re glad she’s okay now so we can say we’re glad Sage got a lesson in real life. Plus, Rose got to see the slimy side of Max. We can’t believe he had the nerve to ask her how long it would take her to help Sage.

“Should I wait here?” he said - more like at the curb! Thank goodness Rose got rid of him. We tend to view her as a sweet, innocent sister of our own and would hate to see her get hurt.

And, as this week’s drama wound down, Megan once again takes advantage of Charlie’s friendship and ditches him to go see Jacob. If we have to hear her say “rain check.” to Charlie one more time, we just might scream! Aside from the fact he obviously is mad in love with her, we think it’s kind of shady to drop your friends every time a guy calls.

Do you think Megan and Charlie’s friendship can last? Will Charlie ever get the nerve to tell Megan about his feelings? Tell us in the comments!

        <div align="center"

Ok, we had to include this picture because Naomi's shoes are distracting. What are those? Anyway...

Last night's episode of 90210 focused mostly on the older generation - which we were actually happy about. Debbie Wilson finally had something more to do than be a doting wife and mother hanging around the house dispensing advice. It was great to see her step up and take the reins when her boss was in need of help. Her confidence got her in the door and her abilities got her the job shooting at the show.

In Mr. Matthew's class, the students are given an assignment to write a paper on a career they may be interested in pursuing. Annie decides to write the paper about the photo shoot and is convinced by Mr. Matthews to let problem-addled Adrianna tag along. Ryan, Kelly and Brenda are all still trying to figure out if Adrianna has been abusing drugs and this might be a good way for them to find out. Meanwhile, Kelly's got some other issues to handle: Dylan wants to talk and get back into her and Sammy's lives. All of this drama forces her to tell Ryan right now isn't the best time for them to get into a relationship. A very hurt Ryan brings up a good point - why did Dylan call Brenda if he really wanted to speak to Kelly?

When all of the thoughts about the past love-triangle between Kelly, Brenda and Dylan come to the surface, Kelly basically verbally attacks Brenda and accuses her of having more than a friendly relationship with him. Brenda denies anything more than just trying to protect Kelly - but when she deletes Dylan's phone number out of her phone it becomes a little more suspicious. If they really are just friends, why not keep the number? Also, are Brenda and Ryan starting to get something going? He was looking more mischievous with Brenda at his side and we kind of liked that!

In other complicated relationship news, Naomi is still plotting to get her parents back together. She confuses sex for love and tries to sabotage a dinner out with her father and his girlfriend by telling Gail about her father's recent liaisons with her mother. This was probably one of our favorite scenes in the entire show. Naomi's self-satisfied look when she takes a sip of the wine left behind by her father was priceless. When she tries to get her parents back together at the runway party her father's anger explodes and he tells her there is no chance for the marriage to work; put a fork in it, it's done. She leaves with Ethan and unfortunately for her, we can see the parallels between her parents' relationship and hers with Ethan. When she says "I think it's over for good this time," and he agrees, it is obvious that he's talking about their own relationship.

Adrianna starts to warm up to Annie, especially when Annie makes sure to include her in a discussion with an indie film producer who happened to catch "Spring Awakening" and offers both of them a chance to audition for her. In order to make things up to Annie, Adrianna confesses to screwing things up for her and Ty by lying to both of them about the other one cheating. This gets Annie furious - which sets Adrianna off and in the end we see her trying to score more drugs. Later in the evening, Ty comes to find Annie after getting a text from Adrianna confessing to her lies. What really irked us was the discussion between Annie and Ty. Didn't it seem as though Ty was basically saying that now that Annie isn't willing to sleep with him - he's only interested in being friends? Were we missing something here?

Silver and Dixon's relationship seems to be getting hot and heavy; the two can't keep their hands off of each other (which makes us wonder about when Silver's got Kelly place all to herself). When the client at the fashion show starts getting creepy with Silver, Dixon steps in and tells him to get his hands off of her. Of course the creepy guy couldn't leave things at that - he calls Dixon a thug and pushes Dixon over the edge with some racially charged comments. A punch is thrown, the creep fires Debbie's boss and their company and can now move on to his next underage pursuit. Luckily (and surprisingly) Debbie's boss didn't fire her - he praised her talents instead.

What did you think of last night's episode? The next episode will be in two weeks and looks like there will be tons of drama. Tell us what you think in the comments!

Wait 'til you get a load of his real-life counterpart, Dustin Milligan! Dustin is at his captivating best when he sits down with Jason C. and talks about love triangles, what it takes to get into shirtless shape, the "physicality" of the Ethan/Naomi relationship (so that's what the kids are calling it these days!) and a very special guest role he had on another hot CW show.

Warning: Dustin drops a few hints about what's coming up in tonight's episode, Model Behavior (let's just say the title is ironic, ok?). Spoilerphobes, you might want to wait until after the show to watch the clip. Everyone else: Check it out!

But that's not all! Find out what pushed Jackie over the edge, what Mia thinks about the guy in the bar, and how I deal with Dan's writerly habits. Plus, we discuss who we'd rather be minions for and say how we really feel about Charlie Trout.

Last night's One Tree Hill makes a third episode ending in violence this season, and it's the second time someone has died during the series from a Dan-inflicted gunshot. But that Nanny Carrie certainly is resilient! We thought she was dead the first time Dan shot her, but she survived to taunt him one last time before he finally finished her off.

The Nanny Carrie/Jamie/Haley/Dan/Deb plot was the bloodiest of the night, but other plotlines had us equally intrigued. Most of the Tree Hill gang spent the episode apart -- let's catch up on what everyone was up to:

The Nanny Carrie storyline:
( surveys)

What's up with Lucas? He's going to NYC for a meeting... with Lindsey. And he hasn't told her about him and Peyton yet. Uh oh. When he arrives, he wants to tell Lindsey the news, but she cuts him off -- she wants to avoid awkwardness. She shows Lucas the cover of his new book, The Comet, and he's blown away.

The publishing company wants to send Lucas on a major book tour, but one of the dates conflicts with something big... his and Peyton's wedding. Lucas finally tells Lindsey why he has to change the date, and she doesn't take the news well. Emotional and teary, she tells him she wishes he had just called instead of coming to her office.

What's up with Peyton? She's excited because she's set a date for her and Lucas's wedding. She heads to Brooke's store to get a dress, and Brooke is in a terrible mood. Peyton calls her out on it, and Brooke apologizes -- she's had a rough time with Victoria. Peyton's SO happy -- life is going great! But she finally notices that Brooke's maybe not so happy and asks what's up. Brooke won't say anything, though.

What'd you think of the Lucas/Lindsey storyline?
( surveys)

Later, Peyton hangs out with Mick Wolf in the studio. He shares more stories about knowing Ellie, and she's intrigued. They bond over their shared love of music. Peyton asks Mick to come over to meet Lucas and tell her all about her dad, but he tells her to be careful what she wishes for. She still wants to know, so he agrees to come over.

Peyton calls Lucas in tears, convinced that Mick is her dad. She just knows. Lucas questions it, but she's sure.

What's up with Haley? She gets a weird phone call from someone who wants to meet with her -- the person claims to be in the hospice industry. But it's really Nanny Carrie trying out a faux British accent. Haley's not sure how to handle the situation, especially when Jamie asks to say goodbye to Grandpa Dan. She finally agrees that they should go to Dan.

What's up with Nathan? He gets a call from the NBA, and they want to meet with him! The family is thrilled. He flies to meet with a coach and check out the training area... only to discover that they want him to coach, not play. Ouch! Nathan's stunned. He argues that he can still play, but the NBA rep wants a coach.

What should Nathan do about the coaching position?
( polls)

What's up with Brooke? She's got a lot on her plate -- Victoria is taking back the company and the store, just as Brooke's dealing with shoplifter Sam. Later, in therapy, Brooke tells her doctor that she was a little jealous of Sam's devil-may-care attitude. When the therapist asks Brooke if she regrets giving up the company, Brooke hesitates.

What's up with Nanny Carrie? She's digging a giant grave... for Dan. Her evil plans are coming to fruition -- she's planning to kill Dan today and get Jamie back.

What's up with Dan? Like the last few episodes, he's stuck sitting in bed while Nanny Carrie taunts him with her evil plans.

How does it all wrap up? Peyton lights candles and puts on music like she's waiting for a date... but she gets stood up. Looks like talking to his possible daughter is too much for Mick; he's spending the night at a bar instead. And Lucas is still in NYC. Peyton spends the night alone and ends up blowing out the candles sadly.

Lucas finds Lindsey in a nearby bar, and they make amends. She tells him she always supported the couple in his book -- and it seems like now she realizes that couple was and always has been Lucas and Peyton. She gives Lucas a copy of his new book, and after he leaves, he sees that she's written a nice message in there for him. Looks like these two are ready to start a new chapter (yes, we went there) in their lives.

After the initial shock, Nathan talks more with the NBA rep about coaching. He seems to be considering it, but he says he needs to talk with his family first. The rep agrees and tells him he can have a few days to think it over.

Brooke's therapist observes that she's been so focused on work, but when she cites her friends' successes, she always refers to their relationships with loved ones. Is it possible Brooke needs to work on her own relationships a little more so she doesn't always go through life alone? She also suggests Brooke work on starting over with a new business venture now that Clothes over Bros is no more.

Later, Brooke's at a diner and about to pay her bill when she finds out it's been covered -- Shoplifter Sam got it for her. The two have an almost-bonding moment, but it's ruined when Sam complains that her mom is waiting up for her, worried, and Brooke tells her it's not such a bad thing to have a mom who worries.

What should Brooke do next?
( polls)

Brooke's sitting alone in her store when someone enters... it's Millicent! She's interested in working for Brooke's new business venture, but more importantly, she's there for Brooke during a really tough time of transition. Brooke seems so happy to have a friend she can count on.

Haley takes Jamie to see Dan and tells him to wait in the car (why!?). But when Haley gets inside and sees Dan's dire situation, Nanny Carrie knocks her out and then goes out to the car in pursuit of Jamie. While she's hunting for an ax to break the windows, Jamie makes a quick getaway. Carrie chases him through a mazelike cornfield.

Haley comes to and finds Jamie, but her ringing cell phone gives away their location, and Carrie chases them again. They're running just ahead of her, when all of a sudden Carrie's knocked out... by none other than Deb! She used a bottle of champagne she'd been saving (for when Dan was finally off her hands) to knock out the nanny. Dan emerges, bloody and shaken, and they're talking with Haley when Carrie comes to and lunges for Haley and Deb with the ax. Dan shoots her. We thought she was dead, but she comes to once again during the episode's final moments. Dan reminds her what he told her about coming near his family, and he raises the gun again and shoots. This time, Dan really does seem to kill her.

What did you think of the episode? Did you like the Nanny Carrie plot? What do you think about Brooke's next steps? Should Nathan coach or hold out so he can play? What about the return of Lindsey? Tell us everything in the comments!
