Supernatural 100: Misha Collins on Sex-Fiend Cas and Challenges on Set
Oh, Supernatural fans, do we have a treat for you! While we're waiting out the long, looooong hiatus between new episodes, take a look at this priceless interview with Misha Collins at the Supernatural 100th episode party. Misha is his normal delightful self, talking about everything from the search for God, what it will take to go from Angel Castiel to Sex-Drugs-Booze FutureCas, where he wants his character to go in season 6, and what's particularly challenging to deal with on set (hint: said challenging element is approximately 8 and a half feet tall and has a mischievous sense of humor.) Misha is a great guy, humble, nice and generally very pleasant to listen to. He's been nothing but nice to fans of the show. Anyone who can't see that is blind. I'm not a Castiel/Misha fan, but I recognize a good person when he's in front of me.

No. I am not smitten at all; can't stand him. The radical overuse of him this season has made many shows unbelievable. It's disconcerting to see him pop up like a Jack-in-the-box for no real reason (kind of reminds me of Bewitched). If he's so popular, please give him his own show. Please take him off Supernatural - he adds nothing to the show.

I think Castiel has become one of those key characters over the duration of season four and five. If they somehow got rid of him I wouldn't stop watching the show, but I definitely would have some vendetta against the writers xD
Out of all seriousness though, I really hope something epic will happen that involves Cas and I want Misha to stay for the sixth season, of course :)

Have you even SEEN any behind the scenes of this show at all? Both Jared & Jensen are complete goofs on set, so it's no surprise that he tries to make Misha laugh off camera. In fact he's admitted to doing just that in several interviews.
Jared, Jensen, & Misha are all really good friends, so I have no idea where you are getting that from.

I really want Cas to be a part of Season 6.
I think no matter what the story of the next season will be, Cas is already part of the show, he could show up from time to time like Bobby if he's not coming back as a regular.

OMG does this guy love to talk about himself. I can't stand him. And I don't think that Jared was trying to make him laugh as trying to distract the camera guy since they've all known each other for so long. MC loves to make himself important.
Get him off this show please.

I love Misha and can't wait to see him again at the Australian Supernatural convention in May, he always cracks me up!!! And his portrayal of Castiel is incredible, he brings so much to the character and I look forward to seeing what the rest of Season 5 and Season 6 has in store for him.

I heart Misha. Providing it allows for/adds to whatever they have in mind storyline-wise for next season, then I would love to see Castiel back .. Castiel learning how to live a mortal life *could* be very interesting ...

I love the Castiel character...oh no, Castiel cannot become a bad guy! Cas has such a flat sense of humor but it seems Misha Collins has an active sense of humor.
Castiel has been a great addition to Supernatural. Uncle Bobby is also a great character to keep the boys in check.
I was late to the Supernatural party, just bought Seasons 1-4 a few months ago, tore through them & am totally caught up. The blend of humor, drama, mysteriousness & sometimes make you scream storylines, has me very pleased for a Season 6 BUT no bad Castiel, he is too funny the way he is!

MISHA!!!!!! I love that dude. He's such an awesome guy. And his little story about Jared pulling out the cameraman's ear hairs was friggin' hilarious!
I really hope that Castiel doesn't get killed off this season. Haha. I'd be so ticked! I need more MISHA!
