America's Next Top Model: Massive Makeover Madness!

The claws came out right away on America's Next Top Model. Aminat told Sandra that last week “The better person went home.” And she also spoke for the rest of the gals by saying that every single person in the house is sad that Isabella went home instead of her. Oh, ouch. It would hurt most people but clearly our Sandy is not most people. At least we know who isn’t winning “Miss Congeniality” this time around.

There were some great moments Wednesday night and some truly memorable lines.

We knew it had to be coming. The pink, plaid stretch limo arrives to pick up the gals and shuttles them off to Bergdorf Goodman and the John Barrett Salon. It’s makeover time! Tyra’s asked for some big, sophisticated changes. She wants the girls to look like Italian models when they leave the place. As usual, they can’t see their new look until it’s all said and done.

Or should we say all SAD and done.

Most of the models embraced their changes. Nijah got an exaggerated weave, Kortnie went red, but Fo had to go short and cried because she felt “ugly” for the first time. As pathetic as that was, Natalie didn’t get anything cut off or changed in the slightest but had a major freak out until she found out that the stylists weren’t doing anything. Pretty weak.

Then it was on to the photo shoot, and this time it was all about the lighting with a flashy rock ‘n’ roll theme. Some of them did really well. Some…not so much. The judges loved Celia and Allison. But once again, Sandra just didn’t shine. Tahlia looked uncomfortable and Fo broke down and cried on set -- right in front of Nigel. Tsk, tsk!

But it was Jessica who didn’t get a photo at the end of the night. Sure she’s pretty, but the judges just didn’t think the pretty translated into her photos. So she was shown the door.

What do you think about the judges’ choice? The decision to toss Jessica seemed a little out of left field after a few of the girls have done poorly for two weeks now. Who do you think Tyra should have turned the lights out on?
