Gossip Girl Podcast: The Magnificent Archibalds
Gossip Girl had its moments this episode, but some of the plots left us unimpressed. Have the characters really learned so little over the course of the last season and a half? Apparently not.
It's Turkey Day in Manhattan, but all is not well. Blair is furious that Eleanor is apparently going to sully the holiday by announcing her engagement to Cyrus, so she (and Dorota) take to the streets. Jenny has been camping out at the van der Woodsen/Bass residence (and if you have to be homeless, it's best to have a penthouse to crash in), and she's surprised when the adults come home a day early and discover her. Lily also discovers the emancipation papers Jenny is toting around, and she calls Rufus. Meanwhile, Nate is surprised to find his father back in town, saying he wants to whisk the family away to his Caribbean hideaway. But an FBI agent who finds him through Vanessa lets him know that the Captain is up to no good. What will Nate do? Plus, Eric finds the files full of surveillance that Bart has amassed on the whole family, Serena decides to lie to and/or for her man, and Vanessa hopes to rekindle things with Nate. When. And to think we spend most of Thanksgiving just digesting!Listen in as we express our horror at Serena's sartorial choices, and give our theories as to what the hell happened there. Plus, find out what put Mia to sleep, discover what caused Jackie to issue an alert, and learn how you, too, can date Nate Archibald!

don't worry guys I'm still recovering from your One Tree Hill podcast too, it was just out of control funny.
For once I don't thin Dan did anything wrong. I agree with Sarah. I thought I missed an episode when he said he was sober well either that or I fell asleep. And besides their relationship is dommed to fail anyway.
Bart with those files seemed kinda like an eerie stalker. But since I don't celebrate thanksgiving but are you supposed to eat pie? all I know is about turkey or chicken. lol
Jenny I was confused why was she still being a b***h to her dad when he was gonna give her what she wanted.
I was confused I thought that Lily and Rufus were high school sweet hearts. I'm guessing she got pregnant, just a wild thing I'm thinking.
Nate def has loyalty issues. well just like before he's living up to his rep as a man whore. lol
I love deroda's ringtone that made me laugh so much. I like Blair this episode very awesome.
I'm with Mia I hate spoilers so I'm not trying to think about the so called accident.
great podcast yet again oh and Sarah keep saying "I know!" it's awesome

Loved the podcast!
I love how you guys kept mentioning Nicaragua, I'm from there!
but sadly i dont think thats where they came
from, some other island I couldnt tell
what the name was lol
Aaron has got to go!
but Vanessa needs to go away,
its kinda sad it didnt surprise
me that she stole the letter.
notice the jealous look she gave Jenny when she went
back to eat.
both NJ think non of them want to see each other,
and Nate truly cares for Jenny and if you werent able to read the whole las page here it is:
"But I can't hide the way I really feel about you. The emotions are too strong for me to pretend they don't exist. . . I think about you all the time.
Now that you brother knows about us, I have to stay away from you. . . But I don't to. I really care about you. I just don't know what to do.
-Nate"
hes falling for her and I want
Nate & Jenny to be together,
i really hope V falls on her ass from this
lie, she didnt learn the first time
Nate doesnt like lies.

Actually, the letter says
"I can't hide the way I really feel about you. The emotions are too STRONG for me to just pretend they don't exist.
I think about you all the time. Now that your brother knows about us, I have to stay away from you...but I don't want to. " - NATE
and in the beginning it says "I always try to be as honest as I possibly can. That kind of hard when you come from a family like mine. Honesty isn't really something I was taught but I..."
Of course he's not going to say he loves her already since they haven't dated yet but I think the last part of the letter shows how much he likes her and wants them to be together.
I don't know what to say about Nate in terms of him saying that Vanessa and him could hang out but he's probably just lonely.
Vanessa should have never taken that letter. First off, it's a federal offense to open someone else letter and she's obviously getting desperate if she has to turn to scheming to keep Nate into her. Blair can pull that stuff off but not to much Vanessa.
