i dont see peyton and lucas havin any speeches like that but you can tell brucas have chemistry in the words and in the show.

M: Youre right to each their own, but obviously majority of the fans dont think the way you or Mark do. Mark might have outlined BL friendship THIS season, but Mark also made the first 3 seasons which can not and will NOT be forgotten. Those seasons showed that BL can never be just friends and that they are meant to be. As a fan whose seen all the seasons I can not say that Leyton ever had a future. They were the most dysfunctional couple on TV. They never had the right timings. And when they did get together, they themselves came between their relationship. I still think that Lucas is more drawn to Brooke than to Peyton, maybe its just the chemistry that BL has and that Leyton lacks severely or maybe its just they way Mark wants it to be(Brucas endgame...I hope)
If Mark wanted Leyton to be endgame...he screwed up big time! he should have put Leyton together back in s2. Or should never have given BL a whole seaosn of buildup and put them together in S3.
This isnt an attempt for Mark to change the story it is to keep it they way it was before. It feels like Mark is changing the whole show upside down just to prove that LP is meant to be. He had everyone on the show say how "epic" LP is and how they are meant to be atleast 5 times. Thats what I call changing the story.
This poll is proof that fans dont like the way the show is going and want to put an end to this Leyton crap...We want our Brucas Naley and Jeyton back!

Well I guess 2446 people are crazy then M, see the thing is no matter how much mark and LP fans say the LP are meant to be crap. Were not gonna believe it becuase how much they were poorly written. I'm sorry but people relate more with BL and we find there struggles more realistic imo. I mean it's been 3 seasons since BL has been together and yet they still have a huge fanbase so that has to tell you something. It's also mark's fault for giving them a friendship were their both finally on the same path. To each their own, but I don't really understand what all the complaining is about. For anyone to think that Brooke and Lucas are meant to be, seams crazy. I think that Mark has clearly outlined the frienship between Brooke and Lucas, and if any relationship had any real future, it would be between Peyton and Lucas. I don't think Lucas was ever drawn to Brooke the way he was to Peyton, and just because they encountered some bumps in the road, you guys want to write them off??? Come on! This whole attempt to persuade Marc to change the story, and the attacks on Peyton's character is pathetic.

If all that matters to Mark Schwan is who he had in mind as the pilot couple, then what is the point of going through all of these seasons seeing characters grow and evolve, introducing new characters and relationships?

I hope Peyton really did run over Lucas in the pilot and he was just in a coma this whole entire time. Then I would forgive Mark schwan for treating more than half his dedicated viewers like CRAP!

Naley was not a pilot couple, yet I have no doubts they are going to be endgame because there really is no other competition with them.

Mark Schwan, I'm sure you already know this, but things after the pilot are much better than your original plan with Leyton.

For a couple that mark shwahn and co. tries to erase they sure do have a lot of fans. I really wished that mark played this triagle out better than letting personal lives interfere with the show. I just hope to god that dan & serena from gossip girl never breaks up in real life, and blair & chuck never get together in real life. Someone asked BL fans what we see in Brucas and why we still support Brucas?

We support Brucas because they represent True Love. Because Brooke changed so much since first season, for the better and that was because of Lucas.
Because Lucas fought for Brooke.
Because Brooke and Lucas makes everyone believe in true love.
They bring out best in
each other.
Despite all their differences they still love each other.
Lucas is "THE GUY" for Brooke Davis.
Lucas wanted Brooke, not Anna, not Peyton.
They have AMAZING chemistry and even Mark knows it!
They fought for each other.
They had real couple problems, unlike Leyotn.
Brooke was the one who helped Lucas through the loss of Keith, his heart condition, and giving up basketball.
Intially HE wanted Brooke standing next to him when his dreams come true, and she was!
Because Brooke saves people including Lucas.
Because even though they arent together they need each other.
Because they wouldnt have been able to go through some days without each other.
Because Lucas regrets taking Brooke for granted.
Because they don't love each other inspite their flaws, they love their flaws as well, that's what true love is!
Because Lucas Scott was the one boy Brooke would of lost everything for.

WE love BRUCAS because they are meant to be!

The first epi was good but I just don't get it why did they have to make Brooke look so plastic in Luc's dream. I mean if she were his wife she wouldn't leave tree hill ever, they would have a bunch of kids and she would NEVER, but not EVER allow herself not to see Jamie. She loves that kid.
And since when is Peyton so much fun? Like staying home havin S... for their anniversary... please

Of Course LP is meant to be. How can ppl even THINK that BL would ever make it? Weren't you ppl watching since the first season? Before anybody else, Brooke or Lindsey, there was Peyton. Even when he tried it with Brook, Peyton was always on his mind..remember their chat rooms rendevous? When he was with Brooke and the rendevous with Peyton on the computer stopped, Lucas would sit and watch the blank computer screen longingly, missing Peyton. And while he was with Brooke, he and Peyton longed to try it with each other. The entire of season 5 was based on him pretending he moved on and the secret looks he would send Peyton's way when she wasn't looking. Even at his own wedding, standing with Nathan before he walked out to the alter, he noticed Peyton taking her seat and the pain and confusion in his eyes was soooo obvious. Season five (as far as hook ups go),was nothing but a build up to a Leyton reunion. There was absolutely NO foundation or connection between Brooke and Luke. They made an ATTEMPT at it at the end of the season where Luke is there for Brooke when she gives up the baby and she's hurting. And say I love you to each other, but it felt so "friendly". It was 'I love you friend'. But it was sorely lacking and it was just put there to fuel the cliffhanger ending.

I cringed when I saw Brooke and Lucas together in his dream sequence. I was like..how fake! Their characters are so clumbsy together! There was no affection or chemistry. DOn't get me wrong, I love Brooke's cahracter, but I think she should hook up with super hot, super understanding and wonderfully delicious doctor dude who operated on baby Angie. Now THEY had a connection!

Don't hate on Leyton! It's a given. Lucas with anybody else just doesn't make sense. His personality is too deep and complicated to survive with anybody else but Peyton's. Season 1 to season 6 is history as well as it's chemistry.

Okay, so here's a few thoughts to ponder...

- Gus (the card guy) said to Lucas that he made a 'good' choice - he never said anything about it being the 'right' choice.

- When Lucas chose Peyton, the Queen of Hearts card was LEFT on the seat. Foreshadowing much?

- Lindsey was NOT the easy choice - Peyton was. She was the only one that was desperate enought to drop everything, and accept a phone proposal for an impromptu Vegas marriage. Fear of rejection by Brooke and Lindsey.

- MARK LOVES SHOCKERS. I truly believe, and have faith, that MS loves curveballs, and BL will be endgame...

- Brooke was SO talking about Lucas when she told Millicent that when Love comes, to follow it...So OBVIOUS.

This is the first time I have listened to your podcast,and whilst I enjoyed it I found it a little negative, was it really all that bad??

As a mother myself I found the Nathan, Hayley, Jamie scenes realistic and gorgeous, it's great to see them happy!

I found the Nanny Carry/Dan scenes a little predictable, I guessed it wasn't a real hospital, and I didn't like that there can be someone meaner than Dan, HE is the evil villan, lets keep it that way, I don't want to feel sorry for him, I just want to hate him!

Loved that Lucas called Peyton, I cheered! Finally! I thought their relationship was believable and it was great to see Peyton not crying and whining.

Skills and Deb? That is just so OFF,
really don't like that storyline at all.

I would just like to pose a question to all of the Brooke/Lucas fans. This is not meant at all harshly, but simply for my own edification. What is the foundation for your very deep desire to see them together? In other words, why do you so strongly believe that they need to be together? I'm just wondering. I'd love to know. Thanks!

i cant believe that the mom would send some one to do that to brooke especially knowing that brooke is going to do something really bad i think she might kill her mom because she asked lucas mom to teach her how to use a gun i just hope she doesnt end up in jail

I will never believe that Peyton and Lucas have chemistry. Honestly, their relationship has never moved pass, they like the same music, and Lucas saves her. Sorry, but that's not grounds for people who are meant to be together. There needs to be more. They've never grown before our eyes, like Brooke and Lucas have. It's always been something added, just to keep the triangle alive.

I don't know what the writers intentions are, but I hope that they either make the Lucas/Peyton scenes more bearable, or they end that once and for all because it's really boring to watch.

I've been a fan since episode one, and I wasn't impressed with the premier. But the episode for next week looks more enjoyable, so maybe all is not lost.

OMG, I loved the premier of OTH, as much as I love that Peyton showed up, a part of me wanted him to call Brooke. Poor Brooke, she finally gets to where she wants to be and her evil mother shows up and everything hits her in one day, I can't believe she got attacked in her own store, that scene was very disturbing. The worst part of it was that she was alone, Millie just left, Peyton and Lucas were away...I really feel for her.

Im a Brucasser but Im glad that Lucas chose Peyton. I love Brucas but since season 4, Ive known that Leyton are endgame. Im just glad the triangle is finally over.

Carrie returning was ridiculous. I mean really? Was it necessary for her to return. For the first time in my life I astually feel sorry for Dan Scott.

Mouth and Millie left! FINALLY! I will miss them a tiny bit, but I think it was time for them to move on.

Naley were adorable! But I hope they have a tiny bit more drama this season. Something tells me they will though. I mean I would hate for them to just be there for the comic relief of the show. Naley have never been about that. I mean yes they are slightly cheesy, and I love it but they hav always had there fair share of drama.

Now I dont want a lot of Naley drama, just a bit... and maybe for Nathan to join in on the Flo Rida dance. lol.

The last scene was very disturbing and the promo looks intense. Poor Brooke. I really hope shes ok.

This is a comment to the podcast to the new episode..

I didn't like the fact that Lucas picked Peyton. Cause i feel like they don't have a strong foundation. All last season they did not connect, it was just in the last episode they had some scence together. It feels like he chose Peyton think that it will be like before. I personally wanted him to pick Brooke, cause all last season they have growen together, and if not Brooke atleast Lindsey cause they have had a kidn of realtionship last season.

But on another hand i kind of knew that he picked Peyton because fo spoilers and i was kind of hoping it would be Peyton of some special reasons. Why i wanted him to pick Peyton cause i feel like they need to try to betogether and later brake up. THey both need ot realise that htey are not ment to be. SHe belogns with Jake and he with Brooke. So I'm kind of glad that he chose Peyton, cause now they can have closer.
I think the new Brooke storyline is going to bring Brooke & Lucas closer! He will definetely take care of her and save her. Cause in season 3 they promised each other that they would save each other.And after she helped him and "saved" him last seaoson i hope this is the thing that make them grow together!.I hope and think that Lucas and Peyton will grow apart and that she will be go towards JAke while Brooke and Lucas will grow closer.

i started watching tree hill only a few months ago but ive completed all 5 seasons to catch up to the season premiere of 6...Yay peyton i've routed for you since season 1... i cant get enough of it...it gets better and better ill take another 5 seasons keep emmm coming!!! much love to the writers and cast!!!

This episode sucked Peyton and Lucas was sooooo boringgggggggg I can't stand them it's just soooo fake and corny YUK! I would have him rather pick Lindsay than CRAZY EYED Peyton ooh I just don't like her for him but ofcourse it will always be BRUCAS for me til' the end.

I just have one thing to add though, I think that Victoria sent the guy that attacked Brooke, but I also think that Victoria sent him thinking that it was Millicent he was attacking not Brooke. Brooke was supposed to be home not at the store. Victoria wouldn't know about Millicent and Mouth. Victoria told Millicent that she would pay... Think about that.

The fact that it was Peyton was bad enough, but they just had to add the corniness. And the Nanny Carrie and Dan drama was really boring like could they not think of anything else?
And the Nathan, Haley and Jamie were not cute but really cheesy. Jamie dancing to the same song over and over again does not count as Naley scene. Why doesnt Naley get more screen time?

Bring Brucas back Mark...NOW!
And give Naley more screen time...or else be prepared for some hate mail lol

First of all; Lucas picking Peyton was the highlight and made me so deliriously happy that i couldn't think straight!

Loved the Naley and Jamie scenes.

Was shocked at what Psycho Carrie is doing to Dan.

Loved but felt bad for Brooke at the end of the episode, but i'm looking forward to Brooke going to a bad place, it'll be interesting!

Did i mention Lucas and Peyton?! :D Ahhh so nice to see Peyton happy!
Great work Chad and Hilarie, oh and Mark for bringing them together again!

One thing I thought you might mention in the podcast (but you didn't) was how un-Brookish Brooke was acting in BL dream sequence...
She seemed like someone whpo sorta loved Luke, but was so much more in love with her work. Plus the "Jamie'll understand why we don't see him anymore" - Whatt? I think the Bl dream sequence should have had a very young BL baby or a pregnant Brooke, something to show her 'Baby Realisation' throughout, oh yeah, the WHOLE of season 5??
I personally think they should have had a more lovey-dovey scene, although the kiss made up a little bit.

I love your podcasts, but this one was a bit negative for what I thought was one the best episode we'd received in a very long time...
Plus I LOVED the Psycho Carrie revelation! I called that in the S5 finale, as to who was in the car :D She is such an evil, twisted cow!

Jamie - SOSO cute, plus I agree that Q is disposable, plus dead Q at the moment, would SO much more interesting than alive Q. May seem harsh, but it's truee.

Previews look great, although it's a bit hard for me to keep up while living in England...I think I saw them all though.

Plus *squeal* the sneak peek, with Jamie, Skills, Deb? Pure comedy :) "And I thought the last nanny was crazy" - LOVE JAMES LUCAS SCOTT.

Brooke's my fave character, and I love how they are starting with her in a dark place. Will definetely make for some interesting drama. Agree, I think it's Brooke who will set off the gunshot featured in the previews :)

Lucas & Peyton are fake, sappy, over-happy, cheesy, and boring to watch. I am frankly very sick of every character emphasizing that they are meant to be and celebrating the fact that Lucas suddenly realized "my choice is Peyton," especially Brooke with her speech to Millicent about never letting love go when you have it. She was clearly talking about Lucas. He's the one she let go, and it tore her up.

Lucas' dream shows that Lucas still considers Brooke as one of his top choices. He feels that Brooke will never fully take him back and will always be distracted with other things. She is the ONLY GIRL that he says "I DO love you Brooke Davis" to, showing that he feels she doesn't know that.

Lucas' Lindsey dream shows that it would be easiest and most common sense at the moment to pick Lindsey. "It's easy with us, isn't it?" "The easiest."

Lucas' Peyton dream shows that their relationship is based on nothing but cheating and lust. He jokingly accuses her of sleeping with the milkman, and she tempts him with "naughty" thoughts. And Peyton says that his dream is more than what SHE wished for. Lucas never says the same thing in return.

And Lucas may think he can choose love (and Peyton), but as Gus says, "that's where you're wrong. You don't choose love. Love chooses you."

And this is not the end yet. "People that are meant to be together always find their way in the end."

Lucas and Peyton are together at the beginning of this season to realize that they are not who they once were, and they are not meant to be. Lucas will realize that his love for Brooke is the love he's looking for.

All you Brooke and Lucas fans need to shut your mouths. The show started with Lucas and Peyton and its only right for it to end with them. I think I did a little dance when I saw Peyton at the airport! Nice work Mark!!!! (just a side note since Sophia & Chad were married and then divorced in real life it would be mean to make them kiss and be in love in a show)

The Naley Jamie scene's were the cutest! Love them...

I thought it was GREAT writing that Nanny Carrie was the one the hit Dan, never saw that coming...

I wonder if its Brooke's mom that hired the guy to beat up Brooke? Wouldn't surprise me. Victoria and Dan should get married, lol.

I'm a brucas fan, and although I liked the episode (I skip some LP parts), I didn't like Lucas decision. I didn't want either for Lucas to ask Brooke to marry her, but he barely spoke to Peyton the last 3 years, he was so in love with Lindsay and he was fighting for her, and all of the sudden he completely forgot about Lindsay and wants to marry Peyton??
Even though it doesn't make sense right now, I still want BRUCAS to end together, but with a proper buildup!! BRUCAS ALWAYS!!!!

AWESOME episode even though the Dan/Carrie thing was kinda boring...
I am soooo happy LP is back! I've missed them so much! It was great to see both of them so happy! This season is going to be the best! Can't wait!

Just when you think you have lowered the status of 'degradation,' 'repulsion,' 'delusion,' Leyton just manages to sink their way lower. 6.01 was probably the most...inexplicable circumstance Mark has ever written. Watching it was almost too painful.

And did anybody who watched this episode and managed not to hit something or puke on a pillow? Because dear god, it took me all my bloody guts not to do so. And what on mother nature's green ass are "You're a mess, Lucas Scott but you're my mess?" "I wanna be selfish with you?" "If I say that its more than i wished for, will you call me a dork? cos it is?" all about? Freaking disgusting. Seriously going to wash my eyes with detergent because they have been corrupted. The whole "I said I hate you but here we are going to get married and oh wait, not really" package of Leyton is blatantly, full-on wreckage. Dismiss LP! I have never felt so strongly about this: DISMISS THEM NOW!!

I get the Leyton angle far better when Peyton got shot on the leg and had a psycho stalker. Bejesus for once let that woman stop dangling around Lucas and Lucas also has to stop picking up her dirty laundry. Must he always clean after her? Must he always get her on her feet? Perhaps he should just sign a contract saying, "I, Lucas Eugene Scott, do solemnly swear to fill the knight-in-shining-armor role for Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer." Hot damn, curses! Is--is this supposed to be True Love Always?? Oh, okay, is that what this venereal disease is being called now because if prolong nausea and temporary psychotic breakdown are symptoms then I got it. peyton and lucas go from not talking or even getting along much to being head over heels out of nowhere- season 4 much? but i guess their whole relationship is that way. there's never a build up. everyone claims they belong together and then bam, it happens and we're supposed to believe it...

brooke's left on her own to deal with a lot which happens a lot in the show and i can't wait to see how she deals this time around. i have to admit, i didn't watch the whole episode and i probably wont watch the show anymore but i'm definitely gonna try and keep up with the brooke and naley storylines through summaries and the internet at the least...

it wasnt the best episode but it didnt suck, it had me paying attention that was for sure. though must admit thought it was a little tame, slightly boring especially the carrie/dan, IMO there was too much time wasted on it, yeah i got it she was torturing him (was anyone actually surprised he wasnt at a hospital, were we supposed to be shocked she had kidnapped him?), didnt need to see that over and over again when we could have had more naley which was lacking, though im hoping that was some good foreshadowing of nathans injury, an actual storyline for this would be great instead of just a heap of cute moments (which i admit i love). hey im not a leyton fan but i am not upset he chose peyton and not brooke, no way in hell would i want brucas to happen like that, i think the leyton this ep was classic leyton, does anyone else see the irony in the fact lucas chose peyton and the guy said you cant choose love, yeah i dont doubt lucas is going to figure that out, please bring jake back and give peyton her true someday. oh i cant wait for this brooke storyline, something juicy, a little darker brooke, give the others an opportunity to be there for her after all the stuff she has done for them. its brooke that will get me watching next week, looks amazing.

What I loved the most about this epi was how much Peyton laughed and smiled. I really missed that and I didn't even notice it, but yea she was smiling in like every scene it like the complete opposite of 508 where all she did was cry. I am so thrilled to have my Peyton back...

I loved this episode!!! Yeah, I wish that Lucas had chosen Brooke, but I dont' think Pucas will last. Not trying to hate on Peyton, but she tends to bail on Lucas a lot. I didn't think it was predictable though, especially the ending when Brooke got beat up. I just saw the scenes for the next episode, and I feel bad, because Brooke looks awful. Plus, in my opinion, Lucas is suppposed to save her, but he's too busy cheesing it up with Peyton. By the way, that whole Lucas/Peyton storyline was much too cheesy, with the mirror, and the hotel room, it was all kinda pathetic. Plus, Lucas and Peyton are overplayed, and it was predictable if you read between the lines. And psycho Carrie!! God, she's the character I hate more than Dan, and that's saying something, since I loved Keith. But still, she wants to kidnap Jamie, the most wonderful kid in the whole world.

I personally think that it was a guy who beat up Brooke, but I kinda wonder who. After all, she doesn't have a lot of enemies. And I don't think it was the drug dealer, because he didnt' even see her. Overall, I loved every minute, because I know I'm a lame, but if Lucas is happy, it's alright if he and Peyton are together(for now....). Lastly, the Deb Skills think is creepy, but I think it could get better, and sweeter.

P.S. I almost cried when Mouth left. He can't leave!! I hope he comes back to Tree Hill though, even only to guest star.

I could not be more thrilled that Peyton is going to Vegas with Lucas! <3 It's only been 5 years of waiting that has finally seemed to pay off. Lucas finally followed his heart after years of hiding behind fear and pain and realized that the one for him was there all along.

All their scenes brought joy to my heart. Nobody can ever tell me now that LP don't belong together. You never see either of them as happy as they are with each other. They are each other's soulmates and watching something like that on my screen seriously just touches me.

So am I happy that Lucas picked Peyton? No, I'm beyond that. I am flying high in heaven right now singing with the LP angels. Best season premire by far.

I definitely think that the Dan/Carrie stuff is useless and so ugh. I just don't like it all.

Brooke, the poor girl! I feel so horrible for her. I hate Victoria so much and I hope Brooke punches her in the face. I can't believe she'd do that to her own flesh and blood. She's an evil woman, no doubt it.

NHJ are the cutest thing ever. Seeing Haley/Jamie dance was ADORABLE. They definitely lightened up the episode! <3333

When I saw the end of the first episode I was very shocked. I mean Brooke has grown so much since Season 1. She loyal to all her friends and lends a hand whenever she can. Who could do this to someone so caring? Would Victoria really stoop that low as to hire someone to beat the crap out of her own daughter? Brooke is tough and I know she will fight like never before to get through this. I'm a Brucas fan so I'm really hoping this will bring Lucas and Brooke back together. They are better together. Sorry Leyton fans.

i loved the premier! i can't believe that we have to wait another week to see part 2!! i thought that the show definately explored into some darker scenarios which will be an interesting and intriguing twist to the usual! i loved that lucas finally admitted to loving peyton and they are so cute together!! jamie dancing to "ayer" was adorable and it was great that haley joined in on the fun with her son!!! overall it was an 11 out of 10 in my books and truly left me wanting to watch more!! :)

Great episode! I was ecstatic to see that Lucas chose Peyton to marry. It has been long over due for them to get married. Nanny Carry is physcho crazy and should be put in a nut house. Jamie has got skills! I mean the boy has moves ;)Nathan and Haley are still just adorable as ever! And overall i think this episode was just the *bomb* Can't wait to see what happens next week!

I love one tree hill! I thought last night's show was great... except for Lucas calling peyton! I wanted him to call Brook! I think those two are great together! I like peyton just not with Lucas, they lack chemistry to me!!

OMG!! BROOKE!!!! This is probably the beginnings of the "Dark place" that everybody has said Brooke will be going to. And we all know whose behind it. I love Brooke and I was so praying for the "Brucas" Era to reign again.
Also, i'm lovin' the Haley/Jamie/Nathan moments! They are all so cute together!

LP were absolutely perfect!! I was worried season 5 might have tainted them forever, but I was wrong. Their chemistry was top-notch. I know it can't be total smooth sailing for them the entire season, but I can't wait to see them as a couple.

i loved the fact that Lucas called Peyton!Chad and Hilarie have great chemistry and i looove seeing Peyton finally happy!go leyton hehe and the whole episode was amazing!dude,i watched the whole thing 3 times hehe im feeling sorry for brooke and im very curious about the next episode!!!

I think that parts of the premeire were tremendous: Peyton and Lucas finally choosing each other; Haley being as adorable as ever; the whole beginning sequence; Haley, Nathan, and Brooke kind of piecing things together about Leyton. But I also think that the whole psycho nanny part was taken a bit far. It scared me a lot and I found it unnecessary to do SO many scenes with Carrie and Dan. I do admit that it makes you think about things more when you suddenly like Dan. When the episode began I said, "Can Dan just die already?" But by the end I really wanted him to live. I'm so torn!

I think the Brooke situation is heartbreaking. Brooke is too sweet to alwasy be getting hurt and I wish she could just be happy for once. The beating her up thing is rather frightening and from next week's promo, it looks like she didn't do too well with it.

As for Skills and Deb, it's a bit disturbing, but at this point I just choose to ignore it.

All in all, I think Mark did a wonderful job once again, and it was well acted by everyone.

i agreed with some of what yall said. but not all of it.

-the milli/mouth stuff. i think they COULD last 2 or so wks apart, but BROOKE pushed milli to go. i felt like brooke was telling milli she needed to go be with the one she loved, maybe b/c brooke didn't... whether that be something from now, or something from her past. i felt like brooke was pushing milli to go so not to... idk end up like brooke, in the love area in a sense...

lucas DID tell brooke he would save her back in s3. and every time he was with brooke he save peyton, so i AM hoping that luke will FINALLY get to save brooke! --i dont even need it to be romantic, just SOMETHING!!

the lack of haley storyline, as a brooke fan, i felt that in past seasons. Brooke was like the mouth in previous seasons it seemed to me. her storylines were just sort of tagged on the end and really had nothing to do with anyone else... so i feel ya about the haley just sort of being there stuff from last night.

luke did realize that they didnt have all that stuff for/at the wedding, but didn't he say to peyton "i wanna be selfish with you" or something along those lines.

i liked l/p being disconnected from everyone else, honestly it made it easier for me to watch w/o the rest of the cast being all "YAY team leyton" or "you know you love peyton/lucas" grrr! and somehow they still managed to find a way to make every1 in tree hill ship l/p... i just dont get it.

Q was pro-nathan at the end of s5, helping him with getting to play again, so i didn't think that was much of a change to last night's epi...

and i def agree about carrie and misery thing... it was almost unbearable to watch.

i am honestly torn on who i think set brooke up... it could be that girl, or her mom... but i don't see Brooke's mom going so far as to have the guy beat her up. my friend asked me, if victoria sent him, why didn't he just get Brooke to do what he wanted? -and i agree, if he beat the hell out of her, how much help is a motionless brooke going to be to get everything opened that he needs opened, and if he didn't need her at all, then why not just break in while she's not there...? i think im leaning towards the girl who tried to steal b/c she'd be mad at brooke... she could like send her boyfriend to go beat her up... ugh idk! and it's frustrating!

overall, im SOOO happy you guys are back and podcasting! cant wait for next wk, and ps, loved the speedyness of getting the podcast up too!! mad props! :D

This episode was horrible, I only liked the Brucas and Brooke scenes. I also liked Naley.

I just had to say: THIS SUCKED!!!!!!! why didn't Lucas call Brooke or Linsday. This "Leyton" drama sucks really really sucks. They are really boring together.Let's face it,he should end up all alone!

I too thought that this episode wasn't good enough to be a premiere. I felt that the writing was a little off or predictable, in an often sappy way. As cute as all the scenes were with Nathan, Haley, and Jamie, they were filler to me. They all could easily have been removed and the viewer would have missed out on nothing important. And what was with Naley letting Jamie listen to song repeatedly that has the word "Damn" in every lyric? The kid is 5.

I look forward to seeing what happens to both Brooke and Dan, although I can't stand watching Carrie. And I am happy that Lucas chose Peyton, but that is only because I still feel pain for Sophia every time she has to share a scene with Chad, otherwise I would want it to be Brooke. Overall the episode fell short for me.

That was a great episode! Everything... even the ewwyness of Skills and Deb worked out well. Great beginning... hopefully they keep it up!

I have to admit that I am a addition to the One Tree Hill fan base, but last years maturing of characters attracted me to the show. Once I started watching Season 5, I went out and bought Seasons 1-4 and now I’m completely addicted.

What can I say about Season 6 season premiere. . . I loved every minute of it. Many complain that it was predictable (Peyton and Lucas’s relationship), but I felt that in many ways it was a story line long over due. We have been in limbo as to their relationship since season 1. It was brilliant the way the writers chose to show all of Lucas’s choices.

The Dan and Nanny Carrie’s storyline was a bit shocking, but I think it will add a fun and crazy story line. It was weird to feel bad for Dan, a character that has done so much evil, but at the same time kept things exciting.

Brooke’s story was horrifying, and it leaves us with questions as to who and why would someone do this. Was it Victoria? Was it a drug dealer from Rachel’s past?

I can’t wait for things to unfold this season. The only thing I’m afraid of is that this is One Tree Hill’s last season. Here’s hoping that it won’t be 

What a craptastic premiere!!! It was predictable, boring, cringeworthy and down right nausiating at times.

Pucas still sucks!!! Nanny Carrie was laughable and not in a good way. Naley was underused in favor of pimping Pucas. Skills and Deb are just ewwwww!

Still love Naley, Brooke and little Jamie. I will miss Mouth, but everything else was a pile of crap.

WORST EPISODE EVER! Everything was so forced, starting with Lucas and Peyton's sudden "I am madly in love with Lindsey" to "wait, no... it's Peyton..."

Oh man, what a way to start the season! I was disappointed to see Peyton was who he picked; at the same time, I was also sort of expecting it...but man, did they lay on the corniness or WHAT! Jeez, I could barely stomach it! It seemed like they were sort of living in a fantasy. Wait until they come back down to reality...

And poor Brooke! The whole episode she was being so brave and selfless, and then something like this happens! What was interesting to me though, is how at the very moment Peyton is "getting what she wished for," Brooke is getting what she wished for taken away from her. And in the worst way possible. :( Peyton is supposedly having the greatest day of her life at the same time Brooke is having the worst. Very interesting...

Anyways, loved the NHJ stuff, as always! Can I please take Jackson home with me? He is way too cute! :)

Looking forward to next week! And that promo...man. Brooke's face gave me the chills for sure. Can't wait to see everyone's reaction to all this.

It was so great to see that peyton finally won and got her dream come true" Lucas". They have been through so much and I was so excited that Lucas realized that his life was always uncomplete without peyton all along.
Lindsay was a great twist in last years episodes to make you think Lucas was over Peyton-but in the end Peyton shined threw.
Way to go Peyton you and Lucas deserve happiness..

WOW - i was sceptical at the end of season 5 because of the mediocre finale, i was glad it was peyton (but not surprised) and was very unhappy with dan being hit by a car (dont get be wrong it wasn't sympathy, just unoriginal) BUT wow wow, crazy carrie comes back, and throws a curve ball...distirbed but impressed! and brooke...omg wat the...so scary. also, i cant wait until next week, to see exiting story lines for naley and how leyton unounce thier engagement/wedding!!

I thought this was an awesome premier. There were definetely some things that i hated to see. But i loved to hate it. One Tree Hill has the most awesome story telling.

Lucas and Peyton!!! Good. Everything in season 5 is finally a little less annoying. It was all heading towards a point. Thats my fav TV couple.

Dan and Carrie was interesting. This could get really messy for everyone.

They really tugged at my Brooke heart strings in this episode. I love Brooke and Sophia, so seeing her take those hits in the final moments was heartbreaking. But i love it.

One Tree Hill is definetely back with a bang. Can't wait til next week.
