I must agree with others, you guys were a bit harsh. Its like you're never satisfied
like when we had the slow-pace episodes like
the ones from Season 5 you were
all wanting more storylines, more drama
and action.
and now when so many things are happening
and I know some of them are twisted and such
you guys think its too much.

I must personally I feel OTH is back full force,
I mean they did great in the ratings and this is why
people love the show so much and def
one of the most popular with
an IMMENSE fan base.

I agreed with most of the podcast.

I have to say you ladies hit the nail on the head in regards to Haley and her storylines. SHE HAS NONE. It's absolutely ridiculous how Mark could write a premiere and completely exclude a main character. It was literally twenty minutes into the episode before I even saw her first official scene (and no Lucas' dream sequence doesn't count). As a Haley fan that frustrates me beyond belief because everyone else gets really big storyline and she's left in the sidelines propping up Lucas and Peyton's relationship, waltzing in and out of her house for brief seconds to greet Nathan and Jamie, but that's ALL we see of her. It's almost like she didn't even write that hit song at the end of the season finale. They completely disregard her dreams and work. We see Brooke working in Clothes over Bros and the big issues with her mother, we see Nathan working on getting back to basketball and coaching, Lucas writing his book and working with Lindsey and even Mouth's drawn out scenes concerning whatever it is he does that I choose to forget. WHY CAN WE NEVER SEE HALEY TEACH OR IN THE STUIDIO. Unfair.

I hope Mark listens to your podcast because he needs to find a balance among the characters. His writing is completely biased especially when I much rather see Haley any day over Dan/Carrie/Mouth/Millicient/Deb/Skills.

Actually I changed my mind. I think Victoria did hire the person that beat Brooke up but I think he mean't to beat up Millicant instead because I think after Millicant called her an evil b***h abd didn't show her the designs she said something like you'll regret that or pay for this or some evil quote I can't remember that this time. Because Victoria doesn't know that Brooke fired Millicant to be with Mouth so that thug could have been sent to attack her not Brooke.

I was surprised that Lucas choose Peyton because I thought he would have chosen Lindsey I was hoping for Brooke though. Sarah I was laughing how you said Mia would gut punch cupid. lol Mia I totally agree with you I wasn't digging the leyton scenes besides it was just too sappy and like you said "too easy" I think that Victoria did hire someone to attack Brooke. Honestly I think that she is evil enough to do it. Sarah I love your tirades against Mouth and even during the aeason 1 podcasts it continused and I'm loving it. Now this is na bit biased coming from a guy but Deb's b**bs were awesome. lol But I have to admit I do like this Deb but I like nthe Deb from previous seasons better. Yes Jackie I agree with you WE NEED MORE HALEY. Nanny Carrie isnot a good torture artist I mean I can teach her more about that. But I'm not really sure if I felt sorry for him but I think I kinda did. I think that Jamie changed Q. Am I the only person that though that? I'm about to go to the gossip girl podcast well. I'm sorry, but b*tching at Brucas fans is just as bad as us getting pissed about Peyton and Lucas. Seriously, I never thought of them as a couple, but w/e. Besides, Peyton and Lucas are both all over the place in their love lives, one minute, Peyton loves Jake, then he tells her she loves Lucas, so she does. Then she says no to Lucas, and suddenly she's in love with him only after she realizes he's with Lindsey. And Lucas, well the fact that he says he's going to get Lindsey back then chooses Peyton, that's also strange. I wouldn't stop watching the show because of Leyton, but we all need a place to rant about it, and this is the perfect place to express our feelings. And I do agree that Leyton was too cheesy, Naley was never that sappy in the beginning.

For the record, I swear if Carrie successfully kidnaps Jamie I will cry. I love Jamie soooo much, and if Carrie gets him, well...that would seriously be the worst thing to happen.

I am sad that Mouth left though, I loved him and Millicent. But I guess they all have to move on with their lives eventually.

Hey guys, I thought the podcast this week was a little harsh. Yeah Leyton was cheesy but most couples on One Tree Hill are pretty cheesy; this is what makes them so cute. I actually love that Mark puts so much emphasis on Love being important part of everyone’s relationships not just sex, like some shows here on the CW.

Personally, I can not believe anyone would want Brucas to be together after seeing there scene together on Monday. Just looking at the body language of Chad and Sophia, they can't even stand each other. I thought at one point Sophia’s face was going to crack from fake smiling so hard. It was so uncomfortable to watch them.

I love Naley and they are the reason I watch this show period. I totally agree that Haley needs her own story line. She is too good of an actress and character not to have a main storyline. I have a feeling that NHJ will have the back up storyline this year and that makes me nervous for season 6. As for the Dan storyline it was a little much but still deliciously evil. I feel it is Mark’s way of Dan paying some penance for his crimes in Tree Hill.

Anyway can’t wait for your guys next podcast, hopefully there will be more positive feedback in the future.

I forgot to mention, really enjoyed the podcast despite yous having more negative things to say than positive :D

I am in the camp that hate Pucas! But more importantly I just find Lucas to fickle to take seriously with anyone.

Just a few short episodes ago the first person he thought about when he woke up in the morning was Lindsey. He was going to marry Lindsey and was pretty devastated when she left him and then proceded to pine for her. But yet he couldn't start writing until Peyton returned with her "Comet" *rolls eyes*. And remember the whole "I'm the guy for you Brooke Davis" campain? I'm sorry but I don't buy any of these women as Luke's "one true love" because he falls in and out of love so easily. For the record I think that the only one he has chemistry with is Brooke but ultimately he should have chose no one.

I resent that Naley was so underused. They are the true super couple of the show and they were virtually ignored so Mark could pimp Pucas. It was hard to control my need to hurl every time Pucas was on screen. More Naley!!! Less Pucas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skills and Deb are beyond ewww. Q can go, I have no use for him. I like Mouth and even though I'm not devastated to see him go, I thought he deserved a better send off than just a goodbye from Brook and Skills.

I feel bad for Brook and think Sophia will rock this storyline. I agree it was Victoria who sent the attacker to beat up Millicent but got Brook instead. Nanny Carrie is laughable as a villian and not in a good way. Interesting idea, horrible execusion.

Overall not a great way to start the season. I give this episode a C-.

I keep switching team before,Leyton,Brucas,Leytonbut seriously after season 6 pilot I'll never switching team again and Brucas is my permanent choice. I just start to be on team Leyton last season cuz I really thought that they have deep feeling going on but with that easily choice after pining over someone u almost married and jumping on the bed together like a retarded really make me want to throw up. Thanks to Brooke speech to Millie, I'm know proudly state that I'm now TEAM BRUCAS ;)

But i am a total Leyton fan, and i do have to agree with you guys when you said it was all a bit too sappy... and the fact that he was just pining over lindsey makes the timing a little weird. nonetheless, i'm so glad they're finally together, and no brooke and lucas won't happen if the writers know what's good for them. if they change lucas' girl one more time, i will throw something at the tv because the show isn't all about him!! him and peyton are happy. the end. lucas doesn't get any more girls.

oh and about what you said about Q, you're totally right! jamie knows all the moves, so his time is up! haha

and yes, mouth is boring. i agree... but he'll probably be back as soon as he finds out about brooke... just like lucas comes back in season 4 after finding out about dan.

and i think it's HILARIOUS how brucas fans are outraged and think leyton will break up... seriously?? there has been COUNTLESS clues showing that there is no future for brucas. sorry!

Why can't everyone just enjoy the show...not split apart every little thing....just enjoy. If you don't like don't watch. UGH!!!! It's a freakin TV show people not life, deal with it. Love it, hate it just don't tear it down...Hey, I don't see you making a TV show. But hey I guess everyone can have their "opinions".

I can see you guys aren't feeling the Leyton love. Guess why? Because there isn't any! Over half the fanbase hate them, Schwahn is kidding himself if he thinks its different. No chemistry. No foundation for a relationship at the moment, let alone marriage! Sadly, the creator is just as hung up as Peyton. He can't let go of this ideal image of Leyton he created so long ago which has now been corrupted by lying, cheating and stealing.

The only thing worst than the unholy couple was Dan and Nanny Carrie. Okay OTH writers, pass over whatever you were smoking when you wrote those scenes.

Brooke's storyline is going to be captivating. The promos for next week take my breath away.

I love Leyton. For us Leyton fans, we've waited for like what 5 seasons. It may have been rushed but it didnt take the emotion or chemistry away. Fans can agrue back and forth but its leyton always...

I think this was the best season premiere for OTH and you guys totally bagged on it.

I actually liked the jumping around. It doesn't get boring that way.

I agree with the Nanny Carrie stuff... I really dislike her and I don't find the actress is that great either! I actually felt bad for Dan... funny when ya feel bad for the villains!

I liked that Lucas and Peyton didn't have too much drama going on... there is usually far too much with them. let other people have the drama for an episode and let them be happily in love!

I didn't like the fact that Lucas picked Peyton. Cause i feel like they don't have a strong foundation. All last season they did not connect, it was just in the last episode they had some scence together. It feels like he chose Peyton think that it will be like before. I personally wanted him to pick Brooke, cause all last season they have growen together, and if not Brooke atleast Lindsey cause they have had a kidn of realtionship last season.

But on another hand i kind of knew that he picked Peyton because fo spoilers and i was kind of hoping it would be Peyton of some special reasons. Why i wanted him to pick Peyton cause i feel like they need to try to betogether and later brake up. THey both need ot realise that htey are not ment to be. SHe belogns with Jake and he with Brooke. So I'm kind of glad that he chose Peyton, cause now they can have closer.
I think the new Brooke storyline is going to bring Brooke & Lucas closer! He will definetely take care of her and save her. Cause in season 3 they promised each other that they would save each other.And after she helped him and "saved" him last seaoson i hope this is the thing that make them grow together!.I hope and think that Lucas and Peyton will grow apart and that she will be go towards JAke while Brooke and Lucas will grow closer.

Hey, a little theory about Brooke's attack: if it was set up by Victoria, the attacker was supposed to beat up Millie. Remember an earlier scene with Victoria and Millie, when she called Victoria a b*tch, then Victoria said that she was gonna pay for that? The attack was the punishment, but the plan backfired. I don't think Victoria's eeeeveeeeeeel enough to have her own flesh and blood attacked.

I wasn't surprised that Peyton was the one douche Lucas called. I just didn't want to believe it! Is there no common sense in those two?! My opinion on Peyton is that she obviously has daddy issues that causes her "love" for Lucas. And Lucas, well, he's in love with pretty much everyone in Tree Hill!

Leyton was indeed sappy. Too sappy, actually, that I was cringing every time i see the two on screen! It's too forced, I think.

I liked the whole Carrie/Dan thing. Nobody was expecting that it was Carrie who ran him over. Tree Hill needs another Psycho Derek to spice things up!

I think that Victoria hired someone to go in and steal the sketches and possibly beat up Millie since she was supposed to be there but Millie wasn't there because Brooke fired her! I love Brooke!

Q dying seems... I don't know. I feel like it would be horrible for them to kill someone close to Jamie. He's so little and he'd be so crushed.

Jackie: More Haley, More Haley, More Haley! She has had negative stories since the jump- at best she's been reacting to things. I think she is the character that most girls can relate to, not the teen marriage/basketball husband thing, but it's easy to see yourself in Haley.
Haley is a very versatile character and she can be taken into a million different directions but right now she's standing still. Super frustrating. I agree with everything you said.

It's totally unrealistic that every character is in love with Leyton. TOTALLY unrealistic, especially with Brooke.

Boring, predictable, and totally disappointing. Where has this show gone?

Lucas & Peyton are fake, sappy, over-happy, cheesy, and boring to watch. I am frankly very sick of every character emphasizing that they are meant to be and celebrating the fact that Lucas suddenly realized "my choice is Peyton," especially Brooke with her speech to Millicent about never letting love go when you have it. She was clearly talking about Lucas. He's the one she let go, and it tore her up.

Lucas' dream shows that Lucas still considers Brooke as one of his top choices. He feels that Brooke will never fully take him back and will always be distracted with other things. She is the ONLY GIRL that he says "I DO love you Brooke Davis" to, showing that he feels she doesn't know that. Lucas' Lindsey dream shows that it would be easiest and most common sense at the moment to pick Lindsey. "It's easy with us, isn't it?" "The easiest."

Lucas' Peyton dream shows that their relationship is based on nothing but cheating and lust. He jokingly accuses her of sleeping with the milkman, and she tempts him with "naughty" thoughts. And Peyton says that his dream is more than what SHE wished for. Lucas never says the same thing in return.

And Lucas may think he can choose love (and Peyton), but as Gus says, "that's where you're wrong. You don't choose love. Love chooses you."

And this is not the end yet. "People that are meant to be together always find their way in the end."

Lucas and Peyton are together at the beginning of this season to realize that they are not who they once were, and they are not meant to be. Lucas will realize that his love for Brooke is the love he's looking for.

I really liked this podcast but I hated the episode slightly.

Leyton absolutely sucked to me, they were so boring that I wanted fall asleep. The only thing keeping me up was the Brooke story line. I do not find it surptising that Mark would give Brooke her best story line ever when he finally put Leyton back together.

Naley/Jamie was hilarious. When Jamie was teaching Haley the dance I could not keep a straight face on. Haley is so hilarious and I agree she does need a good story line and I think she'll get it.

Great job as always! Glad that you're back podcasting the new episodes!
