Start the party! Break out the champagne! Smallville and Supernatural, two of our all-time favorite shows, come back tonight, and we're ready to celebrate!

We're counting down the minutes here at CW Source Central, just waiting for primetime to finally come. After all, both shows left us with some pretty substantial cliffhangers. Clark and Lex got swallowed up by the arctic ice as the Fortress of Solitude collapsed into the sea on Smallville -- how will Clark come back? And will he escape Jor-El's parental wrath? We know that Ollie is leading members of the Justice League on the Quest for Clark tonight, which just adds to the excitement. We love Green Arrow, and we can't wait to see what happens. Plus, it sounds like this is the season when Clark finally starts embracing his future -- he starts working at the Daily Planet, he starts working on the dual identity thing, and he starts to see sparks with a certain reporter. Bring it on!

Then there's Supernatural, which has had us in a tizzy ever since the last moments of the season finale. Dean is in Hell! Actually, really, honestly in Hell! We know he gets out (and immediately checks out some porn), and we know he and Sam reunite, but we don't know how or why. We can't wait to see Jensen Ackles mine the emotion that comes from being in what Eric Kripke has described as the worst POW camp in the universe. Plus, it sounds like Sam has been up to mysterious business while Dean has been gone. Does this mean the return of bad-ass Sam? We hope so! And oh, we can't even imagine how touching -- or maybe terrifying? -- the Winchester reunion will be. Come on, clock -- move faster!
