I'm usually against celebs revealing their political views but Sophia's really into this election which is amazing. I totally agree with her on this issue and soon enough, we'll know for sure that Obama's our next president.

I really don't care if celebs voice their political opinions... it didn't do any good for the Bush/Kerry election and it won't have any effect this time either.

why would you want to vote for a man like mccain, why ? so we can have a nother 4 horrible years. more foreclosed homes? higher gas prices? higher expenses? jobs getting shut down, people not having jobs anymore. people from making good money, to makeing less than half of what they made? people having to move out of their nice homes to something smaller, and not well?

I'm sorry, but I am failing to understand why people are so offended by this. The man asked her a question and she answered. She gave HER personal opinion. Is that a crime? Her support for Obama and the fact that she's passionate about his campaign in no way shape or form means that she's trying to "get her name out there." I know the fact that there are stars who are actually intelligent and know what they're talking about is mind blowing to some people, but you shouldn't make assumptions about people who you don't even know.

And as for people saying that she should stay out of it because her opinion is broadcasted to too many people, please just lighten up. Stars are allowed to have opinions. Stars are allowed to discuss things other than they're movies or TV shows or boyfriends. They are not robots, they are people. And this all leads me to wonder if all of this criticism derives from the fact that she doesn't share your opinion. Would it be different if she were supporting McCain?

The point is, she has every right to exercise her freedom of speech even if some people chose not to agree with her. And assuming that she's doing this just for publicity just makes you looking stupid, no offense. You what they say, when you assume....

I think Obama seems like a great guy, but he speaks about change - but does he know how to do it?

Everyone who says this vid shouldn't be allowed probably would not say the same thing if she were supporting McCain. Sophia is entitled to her opinions just like you are and shouldn't be silenced by anyone.

Sophia just jumped on the Obama band wagon because she foolishly thought that it would get her more media coverage. It's ridiculous. Keep your views to yourself.

But then again, you'll never have a star (unless they are already huge) admit they are conservative. Because that's a career killer. But I'm sure quite a few of them are. They just can't speak up. Which is a shame. There ARE young, conservatives in Hollywood, in entertainment! I'm one of them! Go McCain/Palin!

Wow. First of all, I'm shocked this blog has so many conservative readers. Second of all, why shouldn't Sophia express her opinions? I find it amazing that Sophia would be attacked for speaking her mind on politics. So she just has to be a pretty face and talk OTH all the time? It's refreshing that the girl has more on her mind than her TV show. "Dangerously strong opinions," Amanda? She's a citizen just like you are, and this country is about free speech. No one's stopping you from making a video on YouTube about your thoughts on this election. Just because Sophia is an actress doesn't mean she has to keep quiet. I thought her opinions were well-thought-out, even though I don't necessarily agree.

The upcoming election is one of the most important in years, and everyone should get in on the discussion if they have something to say. Freedom of speech is the First Amendment... and there are no clauses exempting actors from it.

i love sophia bush sooo much! and i admire her and she is a good role model in many aspects, and has dangerously strong opinions about the media and ya know issues relative to teen girls and such and 90% of the time i back her every word, but politics...

i have just as much to say as she does about the election, but do i get to tell that to people, do i get to voice my opinion to so many ppl like she does? no. and the fact that so many ppl do look up to her should be even more of a reason to stay out of it, imo.
every1 is entitled to their own opinion, i just dont believe their opinions should be so broadcasted...
but hollywood has ALWAYS been like that as long as i can remember and it does upset me, whether i agree with them or not. they should not have as big of a pull as they do just because of who they are or how much $ they make/have...

Sophia is awesome for the way she thinks. She's definitely not one of those shallow-minded Hollywood party girls.

Amen Sophia! Its great to see a young actress who is interested in what is actually going on in the world and real issues, rather than tabloid gossip. I was inspired as well by Obama's speech and can't stop talking or thinking about it. So thanks for posting this. And thanks Sophia Bush, for representing our generation as one with intelligent thoughts and opinions. Obama! Obama! Obama! Obama!

Obama speech was very good he has my vote.

Stars should keep their mouths shut about politics. They try to use their stardom to influnce elections, and ones on the CW young people. And these young people usually vote because so and so on their favorite show is voting that way. Oh, great way to have an election.

I adore Obama and find him really inspirational, but Sophia couldn't have sounded more fake! I do believe that she supports him, but that was horrible. Sit down already.

I'd seriously rather here her talk about her boytoy of the week. It would have sounded more original.

Hey I am from OTH Forums and I was just wanting to watch the Sophia Bush interview.

I would never vote for Obama but I'd certainly vote for Sarah Palin. She's actually done things in her short political career.
