Farmer Wants a Wife Premieres April 30th
Wondering what's going to replace the girls of Girlicious when the latest PCD reality show finishes up in April? Well, wonder no more -- The CW has announced that Farmer Wants a Wife, the city-gals-meet-country-man reality show with a very self-explanatory title, will premiere on April 30 after Top Model. From The CW's press release:
Will love bloom when country boy meets city girl? This farmer is about to find out. The show’s producers searched the nation to select a group of 10 women who have had it with bad dates in the big city and are open to making a big change. These women are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and are willing to find out whether a country man with hometown values might offer a more romantic and rewarding lifestyle.
Apparently the ladies will have to try their hand at farm chores to see if they can handle country life with their farmer man. Challenges include driving a tractor, taking care of very large farm animals and attending bingo night (um, whoever gets to go to bingo night totally gets off easy. How does that compare to milking a potentially angry cow or feeding a stubborn horse!?).
This show has trainwreck potential, but it could be one of those so-bad-it's-good shows (i.e. Crowned). We're witholding judgment until we see previews... but what about you? I loved the show. But I did think he was going to pick Ashley (the college gal from Chicago)
Sure would like to see photos of the wedding, and how Brooke likes the farm life.

i hope he finds someone who actually wants to be w him,and loves him for who he is and what he loves to do. He seems like a sweet guy Id hate to see him get screwed over by some stupid girl who decides after the fact this isnt really what she wants.

You guys are not going to belief this, but this show was a HUGE hit here in the Netherlands .. :D It's even coming back for a season three I think!
