The Sourcies: Best "Dude, I've Got Your Back" Moment

Not all the poignant CW moments come from romantic reunions and hookups -- there's a lot of buddy bonding going on, too. In honor of some of The CW's strong male friendships, this week's category is Best "Dude, I've Got Your Back" Moment. Each of these guys was willing to sacrifice something big in the name of friendship. Check out the nominees with Jason C. and cast your vote below!

You have until Thursday, July 31 at 11:59 PM CT to vote!

Note: Supernatural's Winchesters aren't included because these are all moments between friends, not siblings. Plus, we have to give other shows a chance to shine!

LAST WEEK'S WINNER: Congratulations to One Tree Hill's Haley and Nathan, who won last week's Sourcie for Best Lovers' Quarrel!

MORE: There's still time to vote for Best Lovers Reunion! You have until Monday at 11:59 PM CT, so get voting!

Happy Birthday, James Lafferty!

One Tree Hill’s James Martin Lafferty celebrates his 23rd birthday today! Happy birthday, James!

As the cast’s youngest member (until little Jackson Brundage came along) James was nicknamed “Baby James” by his co-stars. He was just 17 when they shot the One Tree Hill pilot.

You might already know that Chad Michael Murray was originally slated to play Nathan Scott. But because the actor had been abandoned by his mother when he was a child, he felt he could relate to Lucas’s character better. And honestly, could we ever imagine anyone but James playing Nathan?

He was the guy we loved to hate in the first season. Remember how cruel he was to Lucas when he was trying out for The Ravens? But the brothers came together toward the end of season one when they discovered they had a common enemy -- Daddy Dan. And at the end of the first season Nathan did something that changed his life: he married Haley. And his life would never be the same.

Supernatural Podcast: "Bugs"

Listen Now

After lots of hype about this not-so-popular episode, we've watched "Bugs." And it's not that bad! Okay, the ending is kind of ridiculous (the night seemed to last about eight minutes) and the bugs aren't that scary -- even for Mia and me. But this episode had some parts to recommend it.

Dean battles the bugs

In our "Bugs" podcast, Sarah, Mia and I analyze the latest look into the brothers' psyches, the episode's merits -- humor! Sam drives! -- and the parts that just didn't work for us, like the bugs' confusing intentions. And of course, it wouldn't be a CW Source Supernatural podcast without some talk of John Winchester and Sarah's strong feelings about him (and the guy doesn't even appear in this episode!). Plus, we ponder the fate of the bee extras that were sacrificed for the cause.

One Tree Hill Podcast: "What Is And What Never Should Be"

Listen Now

Poor Nathan! He's trying to do the right thing, but he's slapped with handcuffs as soon as he walks in the door. While he's attempting to bake pretzels, the little gathering at his apartment devolves into the party from hell, thanks to surprise visitors Brooke and Nikki.

Brooke and Nikki crash Haley's party

Pre-party, Brooke is out at a bar shooting down loser-ish guys... but then she ends up leaving with Nikki! Isn't that even worse? Once the trouble-seeking twosome arrives at Nathan's place, it doesn't take long for Lucas's night of passion with Nikki to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Dan doesn't get everything he wants... but he does get Deb (!). And they both looked good in the process. Oh, and Keith plans to leave town -- sporting a clip-on tie, no less!

Brenda Walsh Comes Back to 90210!

We can all stop crossing our fingers, holding our breath and doing rain dances -- Shannen Doherty is coming back to 90210! We all know the Brenda years were the best years, and now we can look forward to more clashes with Kelly Taylor, more dining at Nat's Peach Pit and more hanging out with Donna Martin.

When we last saw Brenda, she was boarding a plane to London to attend a prestigious acting school. Over the years, she succeeds in her pursuit of a career in the theater and even has a rekindled (off-screen) romance with Dylan - who moves to London to be with her. Eventually they break up and he, of course, goes back to Kelly. While neither of the women seems to have ended up as Mrs. McKay, they both end up back at West Beverly Hills High. Kelly will be a guidance counselor and Brenda will use her theatrical skills to help direct the school's musical.

High school musical or not -- it's always a safe bet that when Brenda Walsh is around there's going to be drama, and we can't wait! What do you think about the return of Brenda? Do you have any guesses as to what kind of trouble she can get herself into? Let us know in the comments!

We're Going to Comic-Con! Post Your Questions Here

Comic-Con is coming up this weekend, and we're going to be chatting up some of your favorite Smallville and Supernatural stars. From Smallville, Allison Mack, Justin Hartley, and Davis Bloome will be in attendance, along with the new showrunners (executive producers Darren Swimmer, Todd Slavkin, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson). And from Supernatural, we'll be talking with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Eric Kripke, and Sera Gamble!

Of course, we want to hear what YOU want to ask them, so post your questions in the comments -- and get them in as quickly as possible so we can compile the best to ask the stars. You have until Thursday night if you want your question to be considered, so get posting!

The fall TV season is starting early this year, so we won't have to wait quite as long for some of our favorite shows. One Tree Hill fans, we're totally thrilled that we don't have to wait until January like last season! This year, OTH is among the first to premiere.

The first week of September will pack a punch with the potent pair of Gossip Girl and OTH kicking things off, followed by the highly anticipated two-hour premieres of 90210 and America's Next Top Model. Privileged stands alone with a premiere the following week. Then Smallville and Supernatural return a few weeks later, and fans of the comedies will have to wait until early October. The last premiere is Stylista -- we're a bit surprised to see it premiering so late in the game.

Reaper fans, however, are still left hanging -- the network has yet to announce when the drama returns. Same thing with new drama 13 (the title has been updated to 13 -- Fear Is Real).

So what do you think of the new schedule? Which show are you most looking forward to? Which night have you completely blocked off for TV viewing? Tell us in the comments!

Happy Birthday, Jared Padalecki!

Happy birthday, Jared Padalecki! One half of our favorite Hunting team turns 26 today - and yes, it's hard for us to believe that Jared Padalecki is so darn young. Happy birthday, Jared!

We've loved watching Jared show off his acting chops in Supernatural, marveling at the guy's talent as storylines got more complex and deep. Sam could have been a bit of a one-note character - his only goal was to find Jess' killer and then get back to his normal life. But Jared brought more layers to Sam then we originally could have imagined. We've seen Sam confront more horrors than we can count, including horrors within himself. He discovered he could never have the "normal" life he always craved, and he fought that fate, then embraced it. Along the way, he fought his father (while showing just how similar he and John could be), sparred with his brother (emotionally, physically and philosophically), and battled demons both literal and figurative. He even came back from the dead!
